About this Event:

A festival of video clips chosen to stimulate discussion and interest on three different personality-related themes. Buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided whilst we:

  • Watch selections of short video clips to provoke debate (see below for further details)
  • Break into small groups to discuss and really dig into the topic
  • Reconnect as a whole group to share and capture highlights
  • Vote for best video clip

Chaired by: Tameron Chappell (CPsychol. Athinka and TPF Chair), Ben Williams (MD Sten10)and Alison Hall (Principal Psychologist Feel Good Co.)

  • Ticket prices: £55 for members, £85 for non-members*.
  • This price includes a buffet style lunch on arrival and afternoon refreshments.
  • A limited number of student tickets are available at £40, please contact us at administration@psychometricsforum.org to check availability and book.

Cancellations & Refunds: you can cancel at any point up to 21st May, 2024 via Eventbrite and will receive a full refund. Continuous Professional Development: CPD certificates will be emailed to all attendees after the event.

Membership: Membership of the Forum runs from 1st February for 12 months and costs £50 adjusted pro-rata when joining part-way through the membership year.

Questions to discuss:

– Do we feel empathy towards robots?

– Do we trust them?

– What implications does this have for working alongside them?


Clips: 1) Martin Seligman 2) Robert Wildinger on Harvard’s 85 year study 3) Sven Brinkman: focus on the negative 4) Rob Cross on social connections

Questions to discuss:

– Should we just focus on our strengths or do we need to consider weaknesses too?



Clips: 1) Simon Sinek talking about potential 2) Bob Hogan’s view on High Potential

Questions to discuss:

– What is High Potential and how might it differ from high performance?

– How do you measure HP and should you invest more in your HiPo’s than others in your organisation?
